New England Teamwork in a Time of COVID
At Media Northeast, we have well-trained, experienced wedding videographers working with us. We know Maine, New Hamshire, Vermont, and even Boston’s wedding industries well. We are fortunate to work every weekend side-by-side with some of the best wedding professionals this country has to offer.
We’ve served hundreds of weddings with videography in times of challenge — general, recessions, The Great Recession, and the recent travel bans. The current COVID crisis is undoubtedly the most significant challenge this Maine-based wedding videography company has faced– and one we hope never to endure again. It is hard on our couples, their families, our professional friends in the wedding industry. It has been a challenging year.
Through it, though, Media Northeast has been fortunate and remained busy. Working as a team in a time of crisis is essential. The time to build community and relationships of support was yesterday — while things are calm. It is a great reminder to build relationships before the storm hits. We are all connected at weddings — from the family to the venue, to the vendors there to serve. So far, the events that proceeded as planned this year have been a fantastic tribute to how well New England wedding professionals work together.
When we saw our dear photography friend, Mark McCall’s photo of us (above), we realized, WOW, we are indeed part of history. We can only say — it’s something. In uncertain times, the family, friends, vendors, and staff we surround ourselves with are critical. Man, how lucky are we?
Thanks, Mark, for the image and historical record of this strange, strange time. Your photography is personal and powerful.
We are so lucky and thankful that our relationships in Maine video production/agencies and the wedding community throughout New England. Thank you again and again to the fine folks we work with at events!
(We can’t say that enough!)
